2012 Classic Ford Tour, May 4-7

This year we're off to Brugge via Ypres in Belgium.

    When: May 4-7, 2012
Where: Dover to Ypres and Brugge, Belgium
How much: £249 per person (£199 pp for three nights)
    Find out more: 01304 380244, www.continentalcartours.co.uk

Three nights in a 3 Star hotel in Brugge, including bed and breakfast, group meal on the first night, Saturday regional tour, Sunday tour joined by a local classic car club finishing in a central Brugge square with exclusive parking to display the cars.

Always lots of good banter of these tours (helped by a few beers).

Re: 2012 Classic Ford Tour, May 4-7

Me and Ali have been on the last half dozen or so of these tours.
They are well organised and good fun. They are little adventures in themselves.
The company is excellent and I can honestly say they have been some of the very best trips I have ever done. Having a police escort in Dublin is a memory that will last forever, usually reserved for visiting presidents and dignitaries.
Trier was just fantastic. The tours to France show you parts you couldn't possibly find on your own, and the company of Darren, Julie, Jay, Chelle and gang in Amsterdam was just perfect.
For these reasons and too many others to list I wholeheartedly recommend the trip.

Having said all that, we won't be going this year as we are off to Oz instead on a different road trip (Max and Paddy style )

We are unable to make it this year as we have a got a very busy year,
but as already said they are very well organised and are only made better by the very friendly people on them.

Hopeing next year it goes back to Trier as next year we will be on it anyway...

    Trier was ace

P.S Have fun in Oz Dave

Done quite a few now...France, Belgium, Ireland, Germany and Jersey

It really is great fun and the sight of a large convoy of Classic Fords always gets me...big lump in the throat.......it may be mumps though...

How many people tend to do the 3 day vs the 4 day?

They are not usually 4 days, at least I don't think they are. Should know, I have been on enough of them.
Some people drop out of the last day sometimes, never makes any difference to anything really.
It is worth the trip, I am sure you would enjoy it.

Yet again it clashes with the lakes tour so cant do this, maybe next year if its at a different time to the lakes.
