Is there anyone here that refurbishes the escort mk2 / mk1 and the car is standing on jack stand I would love to see how the jack stand how you put them on the car? 😊

Not having had to do extensive bodywork on mine I can only say my stands have been used under the chassis rails and / or the axle - not called axle stands for nothing LOL! Obviously if you are taking the floors out then I wouldn't put the weight of the rest of the body through the now unsupported chassis rails. The body spits people use seem to distribute the mass better without overloading any particular piece.
