    M16 calipers

I´ve got a set of m16 calipers but they are bigger than the original Mk2 Rs2000 calipers. Even the pads are bigger. Could anyone say me from which car they could be from??? I´ve bought them in a package. They are spaced for vented dics.

And do I need something to know about to mount them???
They are very close to the front hub so I grinded them to fit.

mk2 granada! same size pistons as m16, like you said it has bigger pads, but you might struggle to find pads in a good competition compound.
ideally you will need the longer caliper bolts and you need to fit spacers to line everything up.

IIRC they were fitted to the MK2 Granada 2.8i. MK2s were made between 1977 to 1985.

    Re: M16 calipers

I used this calipers on my RS1600 Street Car with Mintex MDB1173 (M171) Pads and Std. master cylinder and 2,8 Capri Disks. Works very well. Much better as M16s.

I have only grinded the caliper for enough space to the Hub.

    Simon

Long time ago but I think I only grinded the caliper a little bit.
