Pinto turbo injectors, standard efi max?

What’s the max hp people have been managing to get out of the standard efi injectors? Also are the high or low impedance?
going to run me221 management, so need high impedance, looking to start at around 200hp on a standard engine, but move up when I fit YB pistons and Conrods. What direct fit replacement injectors will be able to cover both bases?
    Thanks.

im pretty sure they are high impedance, but they are too small for your needs, they will be absolutely maxed out by 200bhp. normal bosch top entry injectors will fit

Agreed on std injectors / power output BUT that is at std fuel pressure! If you just need that little bit more and the fuel pump is capable, upping the fuel pressure can help. Obvs with a turbo you are already adding boost pressure over base pressure but most pumps can handle a 10psi increase . . . . but watch flow as pressure rises flow decreases but not linear!
Better to have over capacity in pump (suited to ultimate goal) and relatively over sized injectors to give comfortable headroom for all eventualities though IMO.

light blue vauxhall corsa/astra vrx injectors are a good bet, they used to be really cheap from vauxhall, about £120 for 4 as they cam as an assembly on the fuel rail. supposedly they flow something like 440, but we flow tested them and they were much less than that at 3.5 bat pressure

I have a Bosch 044 equivalent, overkill I know, but I already had it lying around. So flow and pressure from the pump won’t be a problem.
So some saab red top 360cc or vrx injectors should be about perfect?

Going to keep the turbo fairly small, t25 size, maybe a hx25.

I have been going through this, be careful how you feed the pump i was doing it from gravity from a Mk1 tank on an -6 pre-filtered. The 044 pump made a terrible noise due to starvation we believe. So the next step is bigger feed or swirl tank etc.

Going to feed it with a facet, as the 044’s don’t like to suck overly much. Also, my alloy tank has a built in swirl pot.
