Never heard of that one before - what's a staked flange?

It had me to. So I googled it, it kind of peens the end caps in place to hold the uj in the flange/housing.

I too thought it was diff flange that was required until I read the word staked.

Not a UJ type to be used on a serious competitive Rally Car. I had a rear one come apart at full speed on an event and the damage it did was horrendous, broken tail shaft, bent mainshaft, bent pinion and damage to the transmission tunnel to name a few.

Cheers for the info - it's a pity good info has to come at someone's expense though!

The bad experience was over 25 years ago but still not forgotten.
