I had the same problem,photo showed flange allround tunnel then when it turn up it was cheap kind,not happy!!! Keep up the good work your cars coming along good,nice to see another 4 door for the lanes.Ive just started work on my 4 door on weekend,ill start a thread when i get round to it

Get a thread going mate, have been busy priming the engine bay I'm really ready to get bolting things back on and out down the lanes
Finally finished priming the engine bay
Got the engine bay painted today looks good, used 2k aerosols
Re fitted the wcxm,twin cam arb and double width kit, track control arms with new high tensile bolts. Then greased up the rbtms and assembled my bilsteins which have had new inserts and springs. Fitted the bilsteins with new bolts and some washers my mate machined for me
Back on its wheels again
Re fitted bonnet to set gap for welding drivers side wing on, had to repair front half of sill and inner sill
Both wings welded on, front floors seam welded
Took an age to get the passenger wing to line up quite happy with it now
Got engine in with help from my bro and a borrowed crane
Looking bloody lovely mate,I restored one outside I know hard it can be good on you buddy
Had to grind away bottom of bell housing as it was catching flywheel slightly
Steel bearing carrier and bearing didn't seem to fit with my sachs cover
Painted floors and tunnel with zinc
Picked up my roll cage today it's a 14 point turret mount safety devices
Managed to get gearbox on and re drilled my extended gearbox crossmember
Then fitted propshaft
Then refitted starter so not a bad nights work
Have filled in drain holes and seam welded chassis rails to floors on both sides plus a little repair to the inner sill

Repaired sill step under back door just need to do other side
Other side done, trial fitted cage
Made some oversize floorpan plates for the roll cage and welded them in
Been getting the cage multi points ready for welding its a nice tight fit
Battery cable from boot to master switch then to starter, switch mounted where ashtray was
Made a start on round turrets looking good so far
One side all welded in
Filled in around turret just got to do on top
Turrets all finished firewall and parcel tray done
Made turret mounts for cage
New tank arrived need to crack on and get base fitted
Looking a bit more tidy
Fitted rear cage hopefully for the last time

Tank stand welded in, when its painted can mount tank and run fuel lines
Ran battery cable and clipped it to floor

Looking good mate I like the rear turret install need to sort the measurements so I can sort mine one of the jobs I'm dreading lol Keep it up and keep them pic's coming (I'm only down the road in Ellesmere Port )
