    ST170 or Blacktop head?

Hi guys. What cylinder head is the best to use? I have ST170 engine for my MK2 rally car and after I read a lot of posts here on the forum, I have chaos in my head, what cylinder head is the best for this conversion. Or ST170 with VVT delete or Blacktop? 2.0 or 1.8? Are dimensions and spacing on manifolds same? Valve diameters of 1.8/2.0 are same as ST170 or I have to put there larger saddles?
    Thanks for all your advice...

Manifolds will swap between all cylinder heads no problems.
The ST170 head however does have a higher inlet port roof.

I would use ST170 head with a proper ECU running full VVT control.
Ford engineers did not invent this because it hurts performance...
The ST170 head also flows more air.

as above manifold can be matched by elongating stud holes and a little porting
