Mk2 RS2000 rear suspension poly bushes

    Hi,
I am in the process of replacing the suspension bushes on my Mk2 RS2000, however the Super Pro polyurethane bushes I have for the leaf springs appear to be approximately 6mm too wide when fitted to the springs. Combined bush width of 77mm compared with the hanger width of 71mm.
Has anyone else experienced this and how did you resolve the issue?
The front bush kit part number is SPF0935K.
    Cheers.

Are they bushes in 2 halves, if so can you not just trim them down in the centre to fit?

    Not ideal I know though.

They are split bushes, but they are headed bushes, it is the head that is too thick to allow the spring to locate in the chassis rail hanger. These poly bushes are not easy to cut, but I may have to give it a go!
The inner steel bush is also too long.
Kit description says for this car, but I'm not convinced!

I take it they're the rear hanger bushes, do they not just tighten up
anyway? The centre steel bush would be the only thing stopping them
    from squeezing themselves up.

I'll check mine tomorrow and let you know. They were a straight and easy fit

Hi apologies for the delay. I checked mine, they are Power Flex, not Super Pro. However they come in 2 halves and push onto a steel bush which is 74mm long. As I said they went into my springs and front and rear hangers with no problems.
