Propshaft balancing
Just for reference and to let people know of my experience.
Mk1 Mexico with tuned Zetec, and a straight cut type 9 gearbox. I purchased a new single piece propshaft from MST, I was told it was a UK made one and better than the usual RD junk. Above 70 I was getting a bad vibration, so naturally I'm thinking propshaft.
Out come, it was! I sent it to Firow in Cheshire, fantastic, old school service, it was turned around in 48hours and cost £40. Not only was the shaft out, even though it came with a balancing plate on it, I was also told the UJ's need to be tightened with a better fitting circlips.
Re-fitted, ran the car and no vibration, jobs a goodun!
Conclusion, do not take some new products as good to go, and for the cost, getting your prop balanced correctly is a must.

Re: Propshaft balancing
Good news but annoying for you. I used northwest propshaft services (salford and chorley) who made my anglia one to order perfect first time. Certainly going back for the escort one.
Sometimes certain thing need to come from old school places.
