I have bought a DAC car and I am collecting her on Sunday, i'll post some pics up when I get her back. It has been in a guys garage for a very long time and needs a full re-commision, but I love these cars to bits, and have owned 20+ in my time, but not had one since about 2004, so really looking forward to getting my teeth into it!
I fear understeer...

Hi new to this site i have a lotus sunbeam moonstone with black stripes have trouble loading any pic's and put a pic on as my profile any idea just seem to be going round in circles .
Welcome to a fellow Sunbeam Lotus owner, posting pictures is really easy on this site. Just click the insert image icon in the bar just above( the one that looks like a picture frame) and choose Insert image from computer. Another box will open then find your picture in the folder in your library and choose upload file. Its really very simple. Love too see you car, hopefully its a DAC as well!
There you go, I told you it was easy.............
Nice one, looks like yours has had loads of work done as well.
Thanks for info Mr Tee no it's not dac. Car was my dads has been in the family since 1987 i got it 2 years ago and did a total rebuild with some mods
Good work there Lotus Sun....a superb job.. I take it the engine is not standard?
Not quite but nothing to mental still very driveable 180 bhp/179 lbs of torque. Will post some pics of the engine soon the only ones i have at the moment are before the mods that i've added this year i.e new rad, strut brace, and new pulleys.

I take it that you are in sloc or asoc ? Spoke to george a little while ago when that engines finnish it's going to be running about 270 bhp can't wait to see it.Apparently he is going to come down for the bromley paegent but the car won't be ready yet.
Ray Donner was the owner of that race Sunbeam!!
Going Sideways is the way Forward!
Rover Sd1 next to it too! I have started a thread on my new car, DAC 28Y, but we are currently building a huge garage to house trhat and the Rover, so progress will be slow to start with.
One of my very favorite colours, which again was never offered by the factory, was Red with a silver stripe. A guy used to sprint a car in these colours many years ago, super quick too.
Anyone remember the White/Blue car that had a Esprit Turbo engine in it? I will try to find all my old pictures out, as I have owned dozens myself, and used to attend all the OC meetings, and have loads of pics somewhere.
I fear understeer...
one here just for Sunbmw.taken at the same meet.
a pair at the pod.
i had mine at the time but didn't bring it up that day .
found another red one.
