I've got a part number for the blacktop of 83420-20040 (gauge assembly temp sensor) from my stash of info. i'm assuming its the same as the silvertop...

Cross reference the part number with whats online, ok no silvertop part number shown so we'll run with the blacktop one:
    http://www.tunemytoyota.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2715

Shows it as 1/8 BSPT on the online shops:

    http://seekpart24.com/qh/coolant-tem...100334&at=7069

Only thing i'd watch out for is some american companies are saying its 1/8 NPT (27tpi), but JDM cars use BSP (28tpi) so stick with BSP.
