    Mx-5 gearbox Speedo drive??

I want to use an Mx-5 gearbox behind a Duratec engine in my cortina....are there any solutions for running a speedo drive so can still use my standard gauges with the Mx-5 gearbox? Willing to either run a 5 or 6 speed gearbox.

    thanks,

    Kev

You could look into converting your original gauges to digital, this guy used the electronics from a small gauge. I bet you could fit the guts from a smiths gauge into the original ford cluster

I made this adaptor a few weeks back for a friends mk2, once it's bonded in the 80mm Racetech gauge fits lovely

I was thinking of mounting a cheap ebay GPS speedo in my mk1 cluster. My lad who does graphics has done an overlay for it to match the original. A cheap version of the speedhut (in the states) offerings. Yet to get to that stage in my anglia i used an app on my phone for a speedo
