    2011 ktm sxf 250 problem

    Anyone got this bike and had any problems with starting it? Mine used to start 2nd kick .... Now it takes bloody ages and im knackerd before geting on the track ;-) Once started , its fine all day

    Pm kierzo52 on here he is a bike mechanic. Have you checked valve clearances recently?

    would say clearances too both my kxf and crfs were pigs to start clearences done they were fine (well better!)

    is it fuel injection ? as iv herd alot of the fuel pumps going down on these ktm 250f and the 350f

    Yes its fuel injection, i stripped it down and found 1 of the connections had coroded, a big problem for these models by the sounds of it!! Shite for a newish ktm, hope 2013 model will be more reliable. Thanks
