This old girl sat since 1996 in shed somewhere in southern Ireland until I bought it off a parts guy last September. Pretty bad with rust but good where it mattered. BRU 764T was its UK reg, so I nicknamed the car BRUTUS. On Irish plates since 1992. Severe rust on right side of car, rear quarter, inner & outer sills, lower A-Pillar almost gone with rot, both splash panels heater bowl with light damage to front ns corner. My biggest problem was the missing parts and trying to source same. Thank God for ebay!
Work to date, left side sills and splash panel replaced, A-pillar from donor fitted. Heater bowl replaced and repairs to bulkhead. Repair to c-pillar with vent sealed up. New wings bonnet slam panel and front panel ready to fit.
Will post pictures when I get the hang of this forum.

Good stuff. Many a Bermuda Blue Escort Mk2 back in the day, not so popular now, most seem to like the old Olympic or Riviera hues, I like it though

Next job is rear valance. Then finish off other bits of welding. Starting to look a lot better after shedding all the rust.
