Mk1 Escort- non servo brake fluid reservoir relocation

Hi all - we need to relocate the brake fluid reservoir on my friend's mk1 (for a Duratec conversion), and I can't work out what I need to relocate the reservoir. It is non servo and has 2 holes, but each is a different size:

Do I need two reservoirs with a feed to each hole?

    Thanks

It looks like the smaller hole is a barb push fit, and the larger hole is threaded

Won't be easy to relocate the reservoir with such a dedicated master cylinder! You really need a new master that has both screw fitting inlets and outlets!

Thanks - I did wonder if this might be the case. Can you suggest a suitable one?

    If I could, i'd have used it myself . . . . . . as I couldn't, I used the traditional bias box solution - sorry!

You could always convert your pedal box to a single master cylinder in the car if you don't want to go to all the hastle of fitting a bias box. You certainly won't get very far with your current MC as it's designed to be used with it's own reservoir and not a remote one.

Yes the OP could, but its a Dual Circuit master for safety reasons - a single cylinder master would be a retrograde step.

I wasn't even aware that a MK1 Escort was type approved with Dual Circuit brakes, the ones in my workshop manuals are on singles.

Well that is what appears to be fitted - fluid inlets into two separate holes = dual circuit.
