    Mk4 cortina brake servo

I am in the final stages of a zetec conversion on my cortina, but because I have decided to use bike carbs they are touching the master cylinder and servo, doing away with the servo is a no go as non servo master cylinders cost a fortune, is it possible to fit a bulkhead mounted servo which sits flush with the bulkhead such as a transit connect and use the original master with a shortend linkage or as anyone got any other suggestions how to get around it

    Hi dmax,
i would think with a little fabrication you could shorten linkage and move servo closer to bulkhead, as ive haven't worked on cortinas for many yrs cant really say. other option is bias pedal box and remote servo or, see if current master cylinder can be made to fit to bulkhead and remote servo that. in my thoughts anything can be made to fit,
    hope this helps
    mike
