    Project mk2

    Hi
everyone thought I’d put some pics up of my build. I’ve had this mk2 forever first car 15 year ago.
so it’s on and off the road so now I want to go over it fit wide arches and 16/10s I’ve more less finished it apart from a couple of issues

here’s the car before I took it off the road looks good but it had its problems

Decided to fit some extra strength in and move the tunnel up a little as the prop shaft used to hit it on hard driving.

So I decided to take red arrow down to my brothers garage. Since then I started to fit monty Carlo rear arch’s and Collin McRae front arches I’ve also fitted rear tubs and the bigger front inner tubs.

There's nothing wrong with those wheels, they seem to suit a Mk2 with arches. Some of the Escorts in the Vecta Fast Ford Championship of the 90's had them fitted. It looks like there's been a nice job done of refurbishing them too.

will look good on those. There used to be fair few mk2's on them especially with x-pack kits. Great looking car so far
