Help please I have fitted a Cosworth YB into an RS 2000 MKII I am just getting round to doing all the coolant pipes and turbo doesn’t seem to have anywhere where water can go in and out The engine is from a sapphire 4x4 has anybody any ideas

unless you have a roller bearing turbo you dont need to cool it with water, it might even be the turbo your engine has fitted isnt watercooled, pictures would help

cant see from that picture but if the turbo is water cooled the core will have holes in the sides 90 degrees to the oil in/out.
THB if you can, you are better not running water through it, as its puts massive heat into the cooling system
No there is no holes 90° To the oil In and out feeds so I guess I just bypass it all thank
Is this turbo not standard to the engine It’s 200 block from sapphire 4x4
It looks like a T3/T4 as fitted to early Sierra Cosworths. Later Escort RS Cossie's had T34 or T35 which are water cooled.
