    Pinto crank pulley

    Who sells standard size crank pully? Iv tried burtons and ebay.google etc but can only find the smaller 4inch billet type also the washer that slides on in between not the bolt and washer that holds it on? Cheers

    probably no one, you most likely have to go with a used one or the small one, small one being better for power as it will run the water pump and alternator slower.

    by washer you mean the big one which stops the belt wandering off the front of the toothed crank pulley?

    lets not forget the newest pinto is 25 years old, plus unlike x/flow pulleys standard pinto ones didnt break.

    as i said in the other thread, put your own tdc mark on and use a timing light with adjustable advance

    even if you dont have an adjustable timing light you can still put the other marks on it simply divide the circumference by 360, that give you the length of 1 degree and multiply by how many degrees you want to mark off.

    fine file or hacksaw blade make it easy to file notches in the pulley to give you marks
