    Hello from Cumbria

Been following the site for a while now and have a couple of friends active on here....bought a car off one after seeing his blog on the site.
Car is a SA import 4 door Mk2 with RS1800 colour scheme, it has a std 1600 engine (AX block) with downdraft weber and 2 inch exhaust.I am quite happy with how it goes but there again you never know....dont look a gift horsepower in the mouth!
I have put on new brakes, including Landie MC as advised on here somewhere, new front springs, front and rear adjustable shockers, new rad, short shift and bolt in cage.It has minilites but I managed to tidy up a set of steelies which look fine.
Have done a couple of autotests, autosolos and a targa in it an it handles really well.
Just swopped the Borg Warner axle for an English with ATB diff....waiting now to run it in when the weather improves.
Hope to give a little back from the mistakes I have made and seek more advice as the car progresses.
    John

    Welcome sir.
How does the ATB work for you? I'm looking at one too and there seems to be different opinions out there.
