Question Weber DCOE 45s - Hole identification

    Hi all,

Can anyone help me - I'm wondering what this hole is for (at the end of the cable tie!) ? It appears to present on each of a set of Weber DCOE 45s but not on Weber DCOE 48s? Both Spanish built carbs, suitable for a Ford Pinto.

    Many thanks.

These are extra air vent for the chamber below the main and idle jets. No idea why they are sometimes not drilled, also not in a 45 Weber. In a 45DCOE-9 they are also not drilled.

Re: Weber DCOE 45s - Hole identification

I’ve got a video of an issue that we are experiencing with the carbs.

Does anyone know the best way to share a video on here or is it a case of uploading to YouTube?

    Thanks.
