Re: Turret Height
The taller type is only used for very very low cars like hotrods, at least over here.

Re: Turret Height
Back in the day there were two heights of turrets, the short one was for std type Capri mounts which bolted onto the spring saddle in front of the axle and the tall one for which was known as the works type mount which was welded directly on top of the axle, that's the one that's used by most now.
If I were you I would use the normal Group 4 Turrets for your 15 inch tubs, that's what most others that I have seen have done. If you increase suspension travel one way then you'll lose out the other. You need to ensure the damper has enough travel when your suspension's on full droop, something often over looked, not quite so bad on a Car used for circuit Racing as one that's used on bumpy Tar or Gravel.
The extra tall Turrets that are being used on 15 inch tubs are probably designed to be used with coil overs like Reiger or Ohlins which would have alot more travel than a conventional Bilstein, so be careful which one you go for.

Re: Turret Height
Thanks for the reply's
The rear shocks that I will be fitting are Irish Tarmac spec Reigers, open height 560mm closed 400mm. I will start with the std height turret and work out the open and closed measurements, then see how this matches up to the taller type.
