    Rs2000 advice

    Im just after a bit of advice on a couple of things;

    firstly the square captive nuts at the front of the chassis legs near the front panel? are the square nuts available anywere and on the rs, what fixes through there?

    also, my car in a previous life has been painted with a stone chip effect, in the engine bay and I’d like to get it smooth again, I’ve done all flat surfaces with a wire wheel on the grinder it is very time consuming and just wondered if a paint stripper is a good idea or am I barking down the wrong tree? I’m happy to carry on wire wheeling but some areas are very tight.

    cheers

    Ben

    Do you mean the ones level with the chassis rail but going into the front panel?
    They would be for the anti roll bar bracket but you cannot normally see the nuts

    Or the ones I'm thinking of are on the inner wings themselves, I might be wrong but I'm thinking they're the front bumper iron mountings.

    It might be worth getting the bay soda blasted to get into the nooks and crannies

    The only square nuts I can think of are the bumper iron mounting points also
