    X-Flow 244cam and roller rockers

    Hi,
    As per the title really.

Are there any gains to be had by fitting high ratio roller rockers to my rally X-Flow engine?
Currently has a 244 cam fitted.
I’m debating fitting a 254 cam but wondering if high ratio rockers might provide some gains.

    Many thanks

Don't forget to take into account that altering the rocker ratio increases valve overlap @ TDC. The 2 cams in question already have quite a lot of valve lift for a X flow.

You can't use high lift roller rockers with an aggresive cam like a 244. There's no way the valve springs would be able to control the valves and rockers.

Busted valve spring = valve buried in top of piston = very expensive own goal.
    Don't do it.
