Fishnet Recaros - Seat cover clips source?

I’ve bought the covers from Aldridge for my fishnet Recaros, and I’m looking for the below clips that hold the covers on - any idea of where to get them, or what they’re even called? I suppose I can use the old ones if I have to.

Aldridge did have them But they don’t advertise them for sale how’s it going getting seats covers on

Thanks - I have to go back to them to buy a bolster so might ask them about these. Just thought I could maybe get them elsewhere cheap.

Just got the covers today, so haven’t really made a start. They seem good quality and highlight just how poor my seats were - could spit peas through the covers. First job will be to grind the runners off the seats, that someone kindly welded on instead of drilling out broken bolts.

You could try Escort tec he may have some definitely don’t throw away in case you have to do Them up How much did the seat covers cost I need some I think I will get back seat as well for the project I’m on with let me know how you go on with them cheers

Fine job and like you must admit the Aldridge covers were good quality and looked great once done

I have re-covered a fair few now.

Firstly the clips you need, they are not easy to get hold of because they rust badly.
If you want a good tight fitting cover but are not woried about authenticity use small cable ties and go through the hole and around the seat base section steel piece insted of the clips.

A few tips worth knowing:
Use a small amount of Talcum powder on the foam to help the covers slip into place correctly, Vac-off when done.

Any deformed/flattened or missing foam must be replaced or the covers will be baggy and loose. Foam can be bought from any upholsterer and using a bread knife cut out and replace to form of original profile. Glue in place with contact adhesive and sand down to shape with Orbital or DA sander. (To much foam is better than too little if you want a nice tight fit).

Use steel rods in the sleeves in cover under seats. (If you dont have them cycle spokes or welding rod will do the job).

Get some new 'Hog rings and proper pliers. Cheap on ebay.

If bottom support straps are loose or broken they must be replaced otherwise the new cover will sag and crease.

Do the job either in a warm room or outside on a sunny day. Covers will be so much easier to work if their warm.

Take your time and if your not 100% happy they can be removed, worked and re-fitted, they always go on better the more they are re-fitted.

Be pacient because if they are not right you will notice everytime you get in the car.

Aldridge covers are worth the effort, they really do look great when fitted correctly.

Good tips. One thing I bought that was useful was an outward clinch stapler, for stapling the covers to the foam base/back.

Not that easy or cheap to find, although I got a Bostitch one on eBay for £30, all the way from Kentucky, US of A!
