    Ford Rally Manual

Found this whilst looking for info on suspension set-ups.

Interesting but probably not that useful these days as after market parts are widely available.

Widely available for years - just google rally prep manual. Maybe old but the info is still pertinent.

It's still a good read today, especially if someone's wanting to build to Historic specification. It was quite useful when we were building a MK1 and 2 in the late seventies, early eighties, the problem was I couldn't afford most of the 909 parts then, so I had to settle for a few copy parts and mostly scrap yard bits to get me going.

I recall buying a genuine Ford RS parts quickshift from TC Harrison, Sheffield and it was nearly 40 back then.

I still have my original paper copy I bought from the RS dealer in Guildford - damn thing fell apart as I read it that much. My old man took it to work and put a spiral binder on it, which is still there today! And I've downloaded a digital copy for reference purposes !

My copy's also in many pieces. A friend of mine has an immaculate original prep book along with the RS parts catalogue of period in Her collection, they seldom ever see the light of day, which doesn't surprise me.
