Sierra cosworth Valve Stem Seals
Hi guys
Just started changing my valve seals for some I bought from ebay.
Here is the link:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182869932985
YB Cosworth OE quality Valve Stem Seal Set Reinz / Elring - Red & Green VITON
The thing is that, the exhaust ones were really tight to put on and had to hammer them in with a long socket (makes sense) but the inlet ones went in really easy with little effort. Didn't even need to tap them in. I'm afraid they are not tight enough and might come loose.
Does this make sense?
Should I just order new ones?
Thanks

Re: Sierra cosworth Valve Stem Seals
Any ideas on this?
I've just realized that the o-rings on the cams, that I was going to purchase locally, are squared. Is this normal or are they like this because of time?
They were assembled with sealant by the previous owner but had a leak that I dont know if it was from the orings or the half moons.
Should I just use sealant with them? or use sealant only on the edges of the rings and half moons?
If someone could help it would be great.

Just to let you know how this ended.
Bought some OEM inlet seal that fitted just perfect.
