    Advice Please st170 rwd

Hi all, l'm looking for some advice on building a road rally car. My car is a mk2 escort and depending on who i speak to, I can use a st170 in the mk2 as long as I fit the standard induction. If this is correct, has anyone completed this install. If so, it would be great to hear from you as i'd appreciate some guidance.
    Thanks in advance.

As the std. induction is injection, I wonder if the stock ecu be retained as well? Only mention it as some modern car ecu's are tied into so many unrelated systems, they throw a hissy fit if not connected!

Hi yes, i'd use the loom and ecu from the st170. There's a couple of sellers on ebay who will strip down the standard loom so you only get what is needed whilst retaining the ecu. There's also a couple of videos on youtube of the loom with the engine running. That said, if someone tells me i can't use this set up for road rallying i'll end up using a crossflow.
