    Which Dry Sump

Has anyone successfully fitted a Duratec engine, with an off the shelf Dry Sump, into a Mk1 Escort, if so which make/model?

They are all quite pricey, so want to make sure I buy the right one.

    Many thanks

    David

    Hi

    I make the Opi kits
And when I build them they are
Fitted to a block and a wrc crossmember
Is trial fitted to make sure everything
    Is good

There is one bolt that is close if I remember
    Correctly
But never had any fitment complaints
In the time That I have been making these kits

That said a Drysump of any description
    Is a aftermarket mod”
So there is normally a chassis mod of some sort around the corner

Thx, will be in touch soon. Is that a standard wrc crossmember or the one with the lowered steering rack?

    Thanks All

I just need to get my head around paying £1800 for a sump, for an engine that costs half that?!

If you end up spending a lot on tuning the Duratec its money well spent

I like the idea of the Raceline dry sump with the pump mounted up inside the sump. According to their website they are not for RWD setups?
