center to center Zetec - Duratec

Is the center from inlet port to inlet port in a Zetec engine the same as the Duratec engine? If not, does anyone has the center to center from the Duratec.

As far as I remember Zetec was 90 mm??

    Thanks in advance

    Dirk

i dont have the info for duratec sorry, anyone have an inlet gasket or old manifold to measure ?
crossflow can be fitted to zetec with an adapter plate and cvh also maybe so both may be usefull if your looking for a duratec match.

Well, I wanted to know I could manipulate a Zetec or Duratec manifold for a DGAV carburator (Banger setup) so it would fit my Mazda MX5 engine. The MX5 is approx 91mm so the Zetec seems to be a close fit.

Would like to replace my twin Weber setup with a single carburetor and turbo charge the engine. Most easy way to get 200 Bhp out of this 1800 engine without making noise (noise level must be below 95 DB on most Belgium tracks).

i would say xf or cvh then with an adapter plate to pickup the bolts and port across the mismatch - or pay for one of the oval race zetec DD manifolds.
i have done a xf manifold onto a zetec myself, just a pillar drill and porting.

The aluminium Banger manifold for the Zetec looks great. Large flange, good option for re drilling. I also have to alter the angle. Hope it's working
