    Hi all
I Know I'm asking for the impossible but I need a set of corello 547 headlights for a mk2 escort.

    Re: Carello headlights

I had a brand new pair of 547 last year complete in there bowls, but needed a pair of Lucas H4 "Blue label" to fit my 1976 Escort MK2 Mexico, they went for £950.00 the pair, and had more than one person trying to get them, they are more rare than the Lucas, but as I said my car left the factory with Lucas H4 Blue Badge lamps, I can get hold of the Lucas brand new complete, as I know where 4 full pairs are.

Thanks for the reply. But I definitely need the corello 547, or I might as well get modern aftermarket lights, which I may well have to do until a pair of corellos turn up.

    Re: Carello headlights

When you search for the headlights (google, ebay etc) type "Carello" (with an a).
And check if they have the original sidelight holder in place as these are even more rare (plastic becomes hard & brittle and fall apart).

I did see these but no good due to LHD.
There seems to be alot of LHD ones about and considerably cheaper than £1050, but I haven't seen a single RHD light come up for sale.
