Duratec crank

Hi any one know what a std 2ltr duratec crank is good for, what sort of safe rpm,thanks

caterhams run them standard to 7500, I hear SBD engines with std crank go to 8800.

ive heard of them being run to much more than that

if you go beyond 7.5-8k most (Caterhams) change to forged pistons, rods etc and might as well go the full hog and change the crank
