I used BGH Geartech in Kent. They rebuilt mine and fitted a Quaif TB diff.

I rebuild English diffs (and only English diffs, nothing else) - I'm in Derbyshire.

What are you needing doing? Complete diff unit, or simply adding an LSD to your current pigs head?

Cheers mate I’m looking for someone to build me a complete one that’ll cope with my 210hp duratec in my mk1 cortina although I think the more I look into it that’s really pushing the limits of reliability on an english ?

3J do an English LSD that accepts 18 spline GP4 halfshafts, thats the one to go for if you have big power.

I’m running a 3J English axle with a BDG, no problem. The half shafts coupled with a new diff, CWP inc, plus make sure you get good quality half shaft bearings as there are loads of cheap ones around ie the ones with an O ring around them.

    Re: English axle rebuild

The weak point on English diffs is the standard open differential (gears and cross pin break) and the standard halfshafts break with heavy launches and loading.
A good English axle with a decent branded LSD (Gripper, Titan etc) and proper heavy duty halfshafts should see you be safe with 250bhp, and a bit more if not doing hard launches and constant, heavy abuse.
