Hi guys

Thinking of potentially swapping out the 1.1i HCS engine in the future.

What engines are ‘drop straight in’ and what take lots of work/ecu’s/fabrication etc.

a lot of us have done engine swaps, including mike ( alladdin who answered above) but your question is not easy to answer, its impossible to give a blow by blow detailed account of whats needed. especially as you havnt even given us a clue what you would like to fit, or what your skill levels are.

The only engines which drop straight in are the ones ford intended to be in there,x/flow, cvh, zetec, but even then they only bolt straight in if you have all the bits.

i would think the full engine/box setup from an ST150 fiesta would physically fit in the space, zetec & omex is probably easier tho
