    Wheel touching the ARB

I have a mk2 with the tyres (both tarmac and gravel ones) touching the anti roll bar on almost full lock (missing a few degrees), which is a 22mm one. It has standard mounts, also the steering arms look quite inclined downward, even with tyre weight, the little steering arms are fitted to the strut in the right way.

Is there any known reason behind it?

I also have a 20mm one, maybe a Twin cam one, it is 3cm shorter. But this one touches the steering arm when the wheel just start steering.

It looks way more complex and wrong than it should be

    Thanks, Enea.

    Have you checked the tracking?

They can have a tendency to bend the steering arms, this would result in your problem.

How high sits the car? (long springs?)
Is the ARB mounted upside down?
