Hello from sunny Cumbria!

Hello, Ive been scanning the forum for a while now, but this is my first post. Im a 19 year old from cumbria with a large love for early escorts. Its something thats been in the family for many years, until about 12 year ago my dad sold his mk2 rs2000.

Ive recently got my hands on a Mk1 GT. Its in need of some tender loving care, but the important bits are there. The fella I bought it of had all intentions of finnishing it, so let his wallet do the talking and bought every single panel for the car. Which has given me alot of welding to do.. At the same time he has also given me a very sturdy roll over jig, which is going to save popping metal down my lug . As well as the panels there is a vast range of spares, full set of plastic windows, 2.0 pinto, full suspension/brakes/wiring loom, and a box of 'fiddly bits'.

So as you can see I've got a solid base to building a dream machine. I have attached one photo on the roll over, and will soon begin a build thread to keep people updated + seek advice.
