I guess 1st question is what tank are you using? Std. Escort? Rally style over the axle? or standalone fuel cell type? The former will need the bottom outlet replaced with something larger to gravity feed the injection? fuel pump. A 044 Bosch pump for example has a 12mm inlet so something like dash 8 hose or larger will help. And you'll need a fuel return (if the injectors aren't deadheaded?) std Ford system was in the top via the level sender. The rally style tank should have suitable outlets and located within a integrated swirl pot, again pump below tank level / under floor helps with gravity flow. If no integral swirl pot then an additional external one could be added - just means an additional LP pump to feed it whilst HP pump draws from and returns to it. The third option can be pretty bespoke or 'off the shelf' - pump internal, pump external, all fittings to suit whatever you want.

Was thinking of going the aluminium Rally style one where you can still get the spare wheel in the middle and it will be injection so I presume I need high power pump unit not sure what you was with the pump Has the injection tank got a lower bit For swirl pot can the tank base be bolted in thanks

Most rally type tanks have integral swirl pots due to outlets fitted one side or the other. Some have a deeper 'pot' below the general tank bottom to ensure ALL the fuel capacity is available. A EFI HP pump will be required and should be sized for the fuel flow required / pressure required at desired boost / Horsepower anticipated. Be aware a 044 Bosch covers most situations but they have a heavy 11A draw so need a good electrical system! Most of these tanks have strap retention - mount the base & straps, fit tank and secure!

Try and keep the swirl pot and pumps well clear of above the exhaust if you can.

The twin pump set-ups using LP Facet pumps are generally for Carb installations. EFI rarely have need of twin pumps.
