Triangulated four link and panhard rod of watts links (Taunus/Cortina)

Has anybody ever fitted on a Mk3/4/5 Cortina or similar Taunus model a panhard rod or watts links?
are there any photos? pros? Cons? Witch one is better?
this car from factory has a trangulated 4 link suspension system on rear axle, what do you think is the best move to do (to eliminate axle lateral movement)?

In general, it is not wise to just add a panhard bar to a K-link (the name I prefer for the Cortina/Taunus MkIII-V setup), since you tend to get binding issues.

I prefer to convert the K-link to a proper 4-link or 3-link with a panhard bar instead. Geometrically speaking the 3-link is better since it has virtually no binding at all but you need a quite beefy upper link since it will handle the torque by itself.

The K-link is a mess to start with. Inherent binding issues that mean you need soft bushes for it to "work" and that in turn means that movement in all directions is "less than controlled".

I have no direct experience, but I have heard that the angled links on these have poor geometry at the ends and cause bushes to 'twist' in normal use. As Gustaf says, they need to be soft to work.
