    mk1 van gearbox and prop.

    Tried to offer up the prop to my mk1 van and its way too long at 49" from end (not inc swivel) to back plate.

    Any ideas what that could be from?

    Also what should the prop be to run a 5spd to english?

    If your running a 5 speed type 9 gearbox you will need a single peice prop off an rs2000 as thats what i done with mine and i'm running an english

    Ah I've been given a 2peice one. bloke I got it from said he had had all the engine and box in it, obviously bloody not!

    i've fitted a pinto and type 9 in my mk2 estate if there the same, had a bit of trouble finding a secondhand single piece prop with large flange, got one through rally design ltd at £89.50 + vat cheap i thought
