South African rear brakes

Does anyone know if the shoes/ cylinders/ drums are the same as the uk 9 inch ones?

Yes
Ive just converted my axle to an english and kept the 9" brakes off the Borg axle.
I got mk2 Rs 2000 cylinders and there exactly the same.
Capri 3l shoes also the same.

3lts capri shoes are wider than uk RS shoes
swapping to the 3 ltr drums and shoes was popular upgrade in day which i used myself. they are actually too good as
you need a bias valve to reduce the rear effort - i used a modified mini rear limiter as was common back then.

Must of been 2.0 L Capri shoes i got then.
I thought 3.0 capri drums were 9"?
