    Re: Pinto AngleBox

nice anglebox mate, looking forward to seeing pics of the ruined diff, i managed to twist my cross pin for the planet gears clean in half on my atlas

plus if going turbo pinto and using injection you can just grind the top of the inlet port 2-3 mm to clear the injector, but then i've heard some people didn't even do that, that just bolted an efi manifold straight to a carb head with no problems

but failing that, clint on here has quite a few efi heads you could buy off him
its not dead till it's buried!

    Re: Pinto AngleBox

I recognise this, recently bought this off pinto anglebox. Ownership got off to a bad start when my dad drove it like a penis without the bonnet latched down and it took off like a rocket. I was originally after an 100e as my first ford but liked the look of this. It needs alot of work, hoping to keep it as a rolling project but will probably get carried away. Im hoping to do a few track days and sprints in it once its been sorted.
Its a shame the turbo plans never came about, the engine in it is absolutely bollocks'd, way down on compression but slowly collecting bits to build a more racey pinto, after a well sorted bottom end at the moment.

I'd like to find abit of history on it, Ive had mixed info on it. The bulkheads been trimmed alot, obviously not for a pinto, apparently it had a toyota engine before but another chap who thought he recognised it said it had an alfa lump. Any info would be much appreciated
