mk2 RS2000 gear knob

Hello ,

Which is the correct knob that the mk2 rs2000 came with ?

There are almost identical 4speed knobs that have different bottoms .

Which is the correct one ?

No3 definitely, got that one and it came off an RS2000 back in the day, however over the years Ford used different part manufacturers, not sure if that includes gear knobs, but more than likely, and the same part can have differences. A good example is the rear light lenses, there’s at least 4 original manufacturers and each are different with the same part number.
I’d go with the one you like most and not get too bogged down.

I'm fairly sure my 78 had that size thread (M10?) 30 odd years ago and my 79 was the same even though it has a T9 with a quickshift lever - same as a Sierra knob (for the 5 speed pattern!)
