Electric petrol pumps. Suggest a less noisy one anybody?

Currently running Weber DCOE's and just removed the mech pump and fitted a small Facet inline one. Not the big cylinderical one but a small plastic body jobbie.
Anyway as I have a fuel pressure regulator and by-pass it runs constantly when the Ignition is on and its noisey. Cant hear it when driving but its annoying on tick over.
So....anybody know of a quieter less noisey low pressure pump?

By the way its mounted under the car below the tank.

Don't laugh - something like this will probably help -

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325998515...3tJF1A1GAAAAAA

    or

As the R1 was rated at 150+hp before they went EFI it should cope with your application providing its not 'balls out' ? And they are pretty quiet - from gentle ticking to frantic at WOT LOL! And they are cheap enough to replace if they fail.

Just dont buy a pattern one, it'll be noisier than what you've got and die quickly, i've had a few start smoking, loosing pressure etc, better to buy a secondhand oem one and replace the points in it, though they're only 3-4 psi and not particularly high volume, as on the bike they only assist and mainly gravity fed

    Thanks guys,
I have it on rubber bobbins, even just supported by the pipe alone its noisy.

Will give the bike pump option a go though.
    Thanks again.

Make sure the bike pump is suitable for the application. Remember someone local who used one of these on his car but couldn't get it to work (fuel starvation?) He went back to a mechanical pump.

I can also vouch for the cheap bike pumps being rubbish, so don't buy a cheap one.

Hi, I currently use this type from Burton Power on my Pinto with 40 DCOE, big difference to the old cluttery pump I had. I run this without a regulator and its fine.
