what struts to convert to 2.25 adjustables?

Hey guys, im not saying what its for yet but i want to convert a air of front legs. I have a set of std 1600 escort ones but read they dont have removable inserts and the only ones to use are rs2000 whivh i cant find anywhere! 2.8 capri ones whivh are a rip off! Is this true? Are there any others? Maybe 2.0 capri legs? Any light shed woud be great. Cheers! Jo

capri 2.0 and 1.6 legs are basically the same as escort rs2000 legs. The inserts from standard legs can be removed. So its down to what you want or can afford really. I have listed below replacement inserts for each type of strut as a guide (they would be available from site sponsers as well). They can all be converted to adjustable height coils.
