I’m not sure about the increase at top end but lower down there are fairly big gains to be had
But I’m turbocharging mine and what I am interested in is the cylinder filling effect. Could the cvt be used to reduce the dynamic compression ration at higher rpm. As most know the higher cr at low rpm with a turbo gives good torque figures, far less laggy than the lower cr engine will have. But at high rpm the higher cr creates too much cylinder pressure. Would altering the cvt timing cause this the reduce the cylinder pressure a bit?
Yes I want the best of both worlds and the wrc cars seemed to manage it although they are under tight regulations

Confused now. Got an email from emerald saying firmware/software and map configuration would be free of charge. Just had to post the ecu to them. Going to have to ring them, hopefully they answer this time.
