    Transit/sierra electronic ignition for pinto

I'm really sorry for asking this question again but the colour of the wiring doesn't match up to any of the wire colours in all the guides set up already. Basically i have the electronic ignition unit and the wiring off the transit lump and an electronic dizzy of a sierra this is all going into a mk3 capri laser that in it's self isn't a problem. From what i have read on the internet i have the same ignition module on the heat sink plate as the sierra as it has the same code, but the wiring is all different colours. Does it actually matter that the colours are different or do i just wire it up as per the sierra diagrams? link in the link?

    http://www.antonys-workshop.co.uk/electronic.htm

pictures of the stuff i have now.

Purple (pin 4) and orange (pin5) to the dizzy

    Green (pin 1) ??????
Black (pin 2) goes to a plug

    White (pin 3) ????????
    purple (pin4) Dizzy
    orange (pin5) Dizzy
    brown (pin6)?????????

Green and blue goes to a small plug that looks like a water temp plug to a loose end

Big black and yellow wire seams to fit only on the + side of the coil

Red and white wire seams to go to the - side of the coil and also goes to a loose end although the black wire fits on there too.

The white one is a live +12V during starting which delays the ignition timing by 10 degrees to enable better starting.
Most people do not connect this.
Is the Capri revcounter now connected to the - side of the coil or is it an itme which has the "loop" behind it?

it seams to be coming off the coil into the loom so i take it it isn't the loop type? this is the capri loom.

i don't know what this is for either? would that be the original water temp for the capri?

Have just found that the yellow and black wire in the photo by the alternator is live when the ignition is on so I have put that yo the black wire going to the plus on the coil and now all plugs are sparking so is this safe to concept up like this
