105E axle wanted for Austin Healey Sprite
Hi Everyone
I am just starting out on a non standard 1966 sprite rebuild.
The engine is a Lancia 2 litre twin cam.
I plan to mate to a ford type 9 transmission and ford anglia rear axle.
I am reliably informed that at 44", either the 105E saloon or the even smaller early 105E van axle fits a sprite, if I flair the wheel arches.
I intend to build a quick little car, just short of 200 BHP.
Can anyone assist. Having previously renovated an MGC, I understand "rocking horse crap".
I am in Bexhill in East Sussex
Thanks

Hi Tonyinbexhill, i am Neil in Eastbourne. Welcome to Turbosport
Anglia axles are still around for reasonable money. You could try Escort-tec who are a sponsor on here.
Good luck with the project. Keep us posted on your progress

Why not use the conversion that Mallock use on their cars. Modify the BMC axle to take Ford diff and use Mallock spec Quaiffe halfshafts?
