    Bit more done started on getting the Tony Law Exhaust fitted reinforced mounts fitted and the exhaust tacked up and ready for welding and a coat of paint one additional mount to fit when the rear skid is fitted on the car

    That nice new rear valance skid has a hole in it now and a hole in the valance for the rather large Tony Law rear box a bit of fettling and it will be done

    Hux,

    Did you have to raise the watts towers up at all? Also what is the distance between the leaf spring saddle and the chassis rail. and also the height of the top bolt on the long tower from the chassis rail.

    Sorry just seen your post the towers were virtually fitted as they come with a small bit of fettling albeit on reinforced plated on the boot floor I will get the measurements when I get up the workshop hopefully next weekend for you, most of the measurements can be gleaned from the escort build book as well

    New motamec tow bracket to be fair the plate it comes with is much too big for the chassis rail



    Fat boy Mirco RS2 seat fits well got a great deal from GSM Performance in Notts



    Seat rails going in







    Co drivers side finished



    Bargain of the week in transit damaged seat has a couple of tears in the top part of the seat which I repaired with my domesticated skills "blush" an absolute bargain from GSM again thanks guys







    The Mirco RS1 not so lards arse seat in the car now



    Next job is too finish the drivers seat rails the start on the fire wall

    Well we have had a bit of a mare due to the drivers seat rail being too high so a but of modding later and its going back in

    Been on a spending binge at Autosport new FEV fire extinguisher and a new DTA NT dash ��

    Bit more done on the old girl started getting the sides made for the fire wall






    Made a stone grill for the front lower holes on the front panel used an old door off a comms cab





    And pre fitted the carbon boot tray




    Just waiting for some metal to come back shaped and folded fir the firewall top section as our bender isn't wide enough

    And now we have the firewall done just going to get the alloy front plate swaged

    Tonight's job was make and fit a battery box in the rear floor section just need to make a couple of top hat threaded tubes for the top clamp



    Then after a panic and a paddy see if the power steering fitted

    So trying to figure out the best position for the hand brake and gear lever but I also need to find space for the can bus switch panel for the power distribution unit !!

    So tonight we mad a start on making the bracket to hold the cylinder for the throttle blipper took a couple of attempts be it works







    Just need to get some pipe fittings tomorrow and order a gearbox quadrant from Tractive for the cylinder to change gears

    is it going to be adjustable??? may rev too high as pneumatic are a bit sketchy for this sort of fine application it could fail and jam throttle open! a long way

    So last weeks shopping list some new An-3 ends for the centre push clutch and An-4 to An-3 hose for the quick release clutch connector, a Viair 444c black compressor for the paddle shift system and news on the grape vine DTA are about to release a PDU (power distribution unit)

    New shiny bit turned up today twin connection points for gear lever and one for the ram for the paddle shift
