Another load f panels turned up for the weekend so I now have all the panels to do most of the car a few bits to get from Group 4 Fabrications

Right repaired the hinge panel under the wing another job ticked off the vast list lol

It may be a 1980 and Robs wife's but it it works very well not quite sure it would meet today's safety standards !

An update inner wing strut tower fitted and strengthening top plate and seam welded nearly ready to fit them to the car !
Not sure on the colour.
Still haven"t got a clue what colour to paint the old girl ?
Well that's nearly another strut tower fitted to the inner wing just a bit of seam welding to do a get them fitted
Another good night in the workshop both inner wings now fitted trial fit of the front wings, slam panel and front panel with a little bit of bashing should be a good fit

Just got in from the workshop 02.30 !!!! Up at 6 no problem anyway started on the floors and inner sills and having to do running repairs on one of the 4 angle grinders we have on the go just debating where to do the join for the new floor to the new sill ?

Got the driver side floor in just a few bits to finish it off then start on the inner sill then start the other side then cut the tunnels out for the new ones

The passengers floor is nearly done
Passengers side now in front bulkhead in front of the floors to do why oh why don't the make the front floor sections longer everyone knows the always rot in front of the floor section !!!
Shaped bulkhead gussets done both sides

Bulkhead to shaped to get the block back a bit more just have to fit the strengthening plate once the new gearbox tunnel goes in
Heater bowl repair done just some grinding to finish off

Well with the arrival of the tunnels soon I thought I would attack the old one with the cutter
Lots of little bits done tonight like the old holes on the front floor pan which go into the chassis rail plates made and welded on lots of other holes welded and ground back so were getting there slowly
Your making some great progress!
Bet you can't wait for the new bits to arrive...
One draw back of getting all the new shiny bits is that the have get attached to the car somehow LOL

Tonight we filled a load more old pipe holes and filled the holes in the rear quarters where the old X-Pack wings used to be riveted plus some of the old holes on the rear panel, looks a lot better with the holes filled !
Also picked up the bonnet from X-Sport in Basingstoke "thanks John"

Looks like we could be busy in the workshop
Exhaust tunnel ordered picking it up from the plains rally
