No but we use Torques as we know a man who knows a man if you get my drift and he doesn't list AN12 stuff

Are you going to mount the fuel regulator on the inner wing Paul, as i have heard of them snapping off on the fuel rail when fixed directly. You might already know this mind you!

you could be even cleverer and put it in the boot and only run 1 fuel line through the car and put the msa fuel take off on the end of the rail as a way to bleed all the air out on first start up? cuts down on weight and cost of extra fuel lines

Geordie.....you can't do that as there needs to be a feed back to the tank for excess fuel as the pump just flows at a set rate.

AN-12 oil lines 3 Runs front to back "eek". The two runs of AN-8 Teflon with no bulkhead conectors as they restrict flow, I have a great idea for that issue :-) ay Rob :-)

ahh but if you put the regulator at the back with the pump the 1 line to the front will have regulated pressure in it! one of mine is done like that!
it cuts down the need of 2 fuel line runs the extra weight of fuel in the system its not like a dry sump system it doesn't need to return anything if the pressure is being controlled elsewhere the sump does need to return the fuel will be used eventually so less heated fuel as when the fuel is pushed through the lines through the hot fuel rail it goes back to the tank and vapourises as it is warm/hot

Re: Mk2 X-Pack to Tarmac Arched MK 2

Drivers side seat brace in now

World cup crossmember towers now removed and capped as gone chassis mount

And we have modded my gearbox tunnel cock up after I was originally going to put a 5 speed Tran-x SL72 dog box in the car then changing my mind after the tunnel was fitted to go with a Tractive Gearbox which was too tight on the rear of the box for the gear change mechanism now we have a far bit of room now with the extended side and this is still a slightly not so in your face than the ugly Tractive tunnel

Next job start fitting the oil lines in

Re: Mk2 X-Pack to Tarmac Arched MK 2

I'm using a group 4 fabrication fuel pump bracket and filter kit with an internal swirl pot in a Squires supplied fuel tank running two lines of AN-8 to feed the fuel regulator then onto the front of the fuel rail and the other is the return from the fuel rail to the tank which will feed into the swirl pot so that tops it up as well

well the fuel pump outlet will have a T peice plumbed to it 1 leg of the T will go to the fuel rail that will have the MSA fuel sample on the other end the other leg of the T peice goes to the pressure reg inlet and the outlet into the fuel tank return line
